Oregon Coast Trip-4th of July

oregoncoastWe had an awesome vacation at the Oregon Coast for the 4th of July. I feel like I was meant to live by the beach, but instead we just go as often as we can, which is usually about once a year. We stayed at our dear friends’ beach house with them and my aunt and uncle and their kids. It was fabulous and they are always amazing hosts. We can’t wait to go back. The beach holds our hearts.

We headed back to the house that afternoon for some amazing crab and salmon that Uncle Tyler caught that morning.

We hiked up to a platform that hangs out over the top of the big falls and looked down. It was a bit scary!DSC_7716These are the falls above the falls.DSC_7723

We got home very late into the night and carried the kids inside. It took me several days to recover, but I can’t wait to do it again.
